The
South Valley Quilt Association (SVQA) is a nonprofit, all volunteer,
organization founded primarily to host a yearly Harvest Quilt
Show at the Taste of Morgan Hill. The Taste of Morgan Hill is
the city’s annual Art & Wine Festival presented by Morgan
Hill Chamber of Commerce.
Mission Statement:
To contribute to the South Valley’s knowledge of the art
of quilting by hosting a yearly quilt and textile art exhibit;
promote an appreciation of the art of quilting by displaying quilt
and textile art for public viewing; provide educational opportunities
by sponsoring and supporting quilting activities; and encourage
quilt making.
Philanthropic Activities: 
Free to the public, the Harvest Quilt Show provides an excellent
venue to educate the general public on the art and skill of quilting
and textile arts. Profits from the show support the Textile Arts
Scholarship and Classroom Grants Fund.

Membership:
Join SVQA and add your name to the roster of quiltmakers and textile
artists dedicated to producing a high quality quilt and textile
arts show providing profits that endow a Textile Arts
Scholarship and Classroom Grant Fund. You need not be
a quilter; membership is open to anyone interested in producing
this great community event.

Meetings:
SVQA meets at 7:00 pm the second Tuesday of the month at the Morgan
Hill House (Villa Mira Monte), 17860 Monterey Road, Morgan Hill,
California. Dues are $30 per year.
